Modern gaming technology offers great potential for providing low-cost training systems for learning cognitive and procedural skills in relevant on-the-job simulated situations.

The VESSEL suite of products, developed under an effort sponsored by the Office of Naval Research, are tools and training systems that harness this capability.

Our products include:

  • VESSEL Damage Control Trainer: Provides individual training on damage control skills within the 3D simulated interior of an Arleigh-Burke class destroyer.
    • WINNER: Serious Games Showcase and Challenge, in the business category, at the 2009 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), Orlando, FL. Official SGSC Website
